I came into direct contact with a significant potential client stream you only dream about. Heads of business that actually mean business and can do business. I have a mountain of follow ups from this event as do the rest of the exhibitors from the UK. So was it a successful mission and would I do it again…ABSOLUTELY…I've already got it booked in my diary!

Agriculture and Agrifood Canada has been directly involved in the planning and delivery of Canada's presence at FHC since 2013. Over the past 4 yearswe have seen the Canada Pavilion triple in size, and exhibitor numbers quadruple. Aside from an excellent trade show, FHC has provided Canada opportunities to use our participation at FHC as a launching pad in China for many significant market development opportunities. To say our Canada's involvement in FHC has been a success would be a significant understatement.

ICEX SPAIN TRADE & INVESTMENT has been successfully participating in this event for the last 16 years. 80 Spanish companies were taking part in this year's exhibition and cover many sectors of the food industry: (meat, wine, beverages, Olive oil, etc). Taking into account that Spain has significantly increased its exports to China in the last 8 years, reaching a staggering 1.170 million euros, FHC CHINA is a unique opportunity for the Spanish food industry to consolidate and expand upon its relationship with its Chinese counterpart. FHC CHINA is an excellent and well organised platform for the Spanish market, and ICEX will continue to participate with a great deal of enthusiasm.

--Mr. Carlos Villar / Head of Food Sector / ICEX

It is our first time exhibiting at FHC and we are very happy and satisfied with the show. We have done some research into the Chinese market and knew which companies we wanted to target but it was not easy reaching them. Showcasing our products at FHC has allowed us to get one step closer to entering this market and we have made some good contacts here – it is a great place to start our journey into China. We have doubled our space at FHC 2018.

--Marc Oliver Heinze / Head of Corporate Purchasing / Lekkerland
